Artista svizzera, nata a Mendrisio, Serena Maisto è attiva da oltre un decennio, durante il quale ha sviluppato il proprio stile e la propria traccia, traendo inspirazione dall’action painting e in particolare da Jackson Pollock. I lavori di Serena si presentano allo stesso tempo vivaci ed introspettivi. La sua esperienza le permette altresì di utilizzare vari mezzi e vari materiali per la propria espressione artistica. Nel corso dell’utimo anno, Serena si è focalizzata sull’interazione tra fotografia e pittura sia quale a autrice degli scatti sia interagendo con gli scatti di fotografi affermati. Serena vive e lavora a Lugano.
Swiss artist, born in Mendrisio, Serena Maisto has been active for over a decade, during which she has developed her own style and her own trace, taking inspiration from action painting and in particular by Jackson Pollock. Serena's work is both lively and introspective. Her experience also allows her to use various media and materials for her artistic expression. Over the course of the past year, Serena focused on the interaction between photography and painting, as the author of the shots herself, and interacting with the shots of affirmed photographers. Serena lives and works in Lugano.
